1. Payment Terms
1.1 Payment at Time of Service
- All payments are due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to your appointment.
- We accept payment methods including EFTPOS, credit cards, and HICAPS for health insurance claims.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 Notice Period
- We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Failure to provide adequate notice, or failure to attend your scheduled appointment without notice, will result in a $49 cancellation fee.
2.2 Late Arrivals
- If you arrive more than 7 minutes late, you may:
a) Proceed with the remaining time of your appointment, or
b) Cancel the appointment and incur the $49 cancellation fee if the time cannot be effectively utilized.
2.3 Extenuating Circumstances
- We understand that emergencies or unforeseen events occur. In such genuine and reasonable circumstances, cancellation fees may be waived at Barefoot Osteo’s discretion.
2.4 Prepaid Appointments
- If you have prepaid for an appointment and cancel within the required 24-hour notice period, you are entitled to a full refund or credit applied to your account for future use.
2.5 Rescheduling by Barefoot Osteo
- In the event that Barefoot Osteo needs to reschedule or cancel an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to arrange an alternative appointment.
3. Online Bookings
3.1 Booking Obligations
- By booking an appointment online, you agree to the Cancellation Policy as outlined above.
- Users are responsible for ensuring all details provided during booking are accurate and up-to-date.
3.2 Systems in Use
- Online bookings are managed through Cliniko. Payments at the clinic may also be processed using HICAPS. By booking through these platforms, you agree to any relevant third-party terms and conditions.
3.3 Technical Issues
- Barefoot Osteo is not responsible for any technical issues, errors, or delays in booking confirmations caused by third-party systems such as Cliniko or email/SMS services.
4. Disclaimers
4.1 Not a Substitute for Medical Advice
- As a qualified healthcare provider registered as an Osteopath with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Barefoot Osteo provides professional care tailored to your individual needs. However, information provided during consultations or on the website is general in nature and does not replace medical advice from your general practitioner or specialist.
4.2 Emergency Situations
- If you require urgent medical care, contact your healthcare provider or dial 000 for immediate assistance.
4.3 Physical Activity and Treatment Risks
- Any exercises, stretches, or activities recommended during consultations are to be performed at your own risk. Barefoot Osteo is not liable for injuries or adverse outcomes resulting from incorrect execution or failure to follow recommendations.
4.4 Results Not Guaranteed
- While we strive to provide the best possible care, individual outcomes may vary. Barefoot Osteo does not guarantee specific results from treatments.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership of Content
- All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, and logos, is the property of FUNGI FUNGI PTY LTD unless otherwise stated.

- Clients are encouraged to follow recommendations and treatment plans provided during consultations. Failure to do so may affect the efficacy of care.
8. Liability
8.1 Limitations
- To the extent permitted by law, Barefoot Osteo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, profit, or goodwill.

- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
